URGENT APPEAL: Help Build Jamia Masjid Ayesha
As-Salāmu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullāhi wa Barakātuh
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Jamia Masjid Ayesha is the only masjid serving the Whitworth area of Rochdale. For years, it has been the heart of our community — a place where we pray, learn, gather, and support one another.
But today, our masjid is too small.
- Our children need classrooms.
- Our sisters need better facilities.
- Our community needs proper janazah services.
- Our future generations need a stronger foundation.
Allah says in the Quran
“O son of Adam, spend and I shall spend on you.”
Our Vision — A Purpose-Built Masjid
With the help of Allah ﷻ, we intend to:
- Purchase the neighbouring plot
- Demolish the current structure
- Build a new masjid from ground floor to second floor
The new masjid will include:
- A large prayer hall
- Islamic education centre
- Community service spaces
- Improved facilities for women and youth
